I found out as soon as I started driving, the temps leveled quickly. We looked into this a lot! Anyways, here is the longest post in history. https://forum.miata.net/vb/sho…light=cheaper+cai&page=11 Putting in the Verus Hood Vents does more that messing with the radiator hoses or air box. Before adding the HKS GT2, I found no real definable difference on the track.
That looks great! After seeing the changes in my intake valves over time and miles. I wonder how long this will last. I have HKS GT2 SC, so different than yours, from the mounting point. Is it hard to take off your EB SC and check the valves after 10K miles? My original 10k looked bad! I was surprised that mine actually got cleaner looking with my SC on it from 75k miles to 85k mile (10k total with SC) running the SC. I am interested in doing this, but not if it doesn't last. My Intake Valves ND1 85k miles HKS GT2 SC. Thanks for this write up. It is OUTSTANDING and SUPERB!
